Government of Quebec
The Government of Quebec has displayed a sincere concern for the environment and has adopted a proactive approach in working to meet the challenges Quebecers currently face as a result of climate change. Since the inception of The Climate Project Canada in 2007 the Government of Quebec has supported our work in bringing the science and solutions to the climate crises to all citizens of Quebec.
On September 28th, 2009, the Government of Quebec announced a three-year financial commitment to establish the permanent secretariat of The Climate Project Canada in Montreal, Quebec. This financial contribution on behalf of the Government of Quebec will ensure that The Climate Project Canada presenters reach tens of thousands of Quebecers through their presentations.
David Suzuki Foundation
As the most respected environmental organization in Canada, The Climate Project Canada was proud to announce a strategic alliance with The David Suzuki Foundation commencing in February of 2009. The alliance was established through a long time friendship between two of the world's most outspoken environmental stewards Dr. David Suzuki and Nobel Laureate Al Gore. The purpose of this alliance is to strengthen the ongoing work by both organizations in their efforts to bring the urgency of climate change to the Canadian public. The Climate Project Canada Secretariat is currently located in the Montreal offices of the recently established wing of the David Suzuki Foundation in the province of Quebec.

Conference regionale des elus
La Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal, which merges the surrounding political and socioeconomic leaders, has a mandate to improve development on the island of Montreal based on consultations and to act on behalf of the government as a privileged speaker in regards to the regional development of its territory.
Climate change is certainly the most crucial environmental issue of our time. The socioeconomic leaders and representatives of Montreal, just like the population, are preoccupied by this phenomenon, an incontrovertible challenge in regards to sustainable development. Through the financial contribution to the Project the Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal wishes to make the establishment of the secretariat of The Climate Project Canada in Montréal a rallying cry that supports the international mobilization towards the struggle against climate change. The quality of the conferences offered by The Climate Project Canada responds perfectly to the needs of the private and public partners of Défi Climat, who wish to ensure their employees are sensitive to the issues of climate change.
Clean Air Champions
The Climate Project Canada is equally proud to partner with Clean Air Champions. CAC's expertise in facilitating athlete public engagement on climate change is an excellent asset to the Play It Cool program. We are working to ensure that athletes from both programs can benefit from the resources offered by both The Climate Project Canada and CAC.
KyotoPlus
In the spring of 2009, The Climate Project Canada partnered with KyotoPlus, with the goal of facilitating the collection and distribution of tens of thousands of signatures from concerned Canadians who would like to see the Federal Government commit to taking greater measures to combat climate change. The primary purpose of the petition currently being distributed by KyotoPlus and KyotoPlus partners across Canada is to ensure that the Canadian Government votes in favour of extending and strengthening the Kyoto Protocol this December, 2009, at a special United Nations meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. The petition also focuses on ensuring that the Government of Canada replaces its current policy approach with a committed and detailed plan that will dramatically reduce Canada's greenhouse gas emissions.
