Eric Novak: Veteran Climate Project Canada Presenter

TCPC’s very own Eric Novak is so much more than just a volunteer.

Freshly returning from a three-day speaking tour of the Vancouver area, Eric Novak of Ajax, Ontario is preparing for another speaking tour; this time in Winnipeg.  Eric has been one of the key presenters in an already successful TCPC high school initiative, and has a seemingly relentless desire to inform and inspire his Canadian peers everywhere.

The "Green Your School Challenge" campaign, a TCPC high school awareness initiative, has surpassed expectation, attracting 110 school requests to date and is set to reach far beyond its 40,000 person target.  Eric alone has booked 10 requests reaching more than 6000 students, all falling within a two-month time period.

Where does his motivation come from?  If you asked Eric that same question, he would respond, "My children are my motivation." In a blog article released on April 21st, 2010 on the YummyMummy Club site where Eric is a regular contributor, he states, "As a Dad I can't think of a more selfish, irresponsible and reckless thing to do than to abuse the world I live in for my own benefit while leaving the destructive implications of that abuse for my 4 children to deal with later."

Eric Novak is an inspiration to everyone that has the good fortune to view one of his presentations.  His stories are provocative and his passion is infectious.  It is a labour of love for Eric and he often speaks of the 'rush' he gets from delivering a good presentation.

We are grateful to have so many hard-working volunteer presenters like Eric as part of the Climate Project Canada team.  Not just Canadians, but people all around the world benefit from their efforts.
